Our Workshops

Our communication workshops empower Asian Americans to challenge cultural perceptions that portray them as weaker leaders.

We help Asian Americans recognize and develop key communication skill sets to project confidence and compete more effectively for leadership roles.

All workshops are free. Each workshop is 90 minutes long and taught in small groups for a more immersive learning experience. Check out the next workshop below.

We focus communication tactics in three key environments: 1) networking, 2) public speaking, and 3) small group settings.

  • How should you enter a room?

  • What do you say to a complete stranger who is so much more accomplished than you without appearing scared?

  • How do you make yourself memorable?

  • How do you connect with someone quickly?

  • How long should you talk to a person?

  • What does your body language say about you?

  • How to read people's body language?

  • How should you follow-up after meeting someone at a networking event.

  • These questions and more will be answered and role-played culminating in meeting new people at networking events.

  • How do you project your voice?

  • How do you show authenticity?

  • How should you start a speech?

  • How should you structure a speech?

  • How do you gain, capture, and retain your audience's attention?

  • How fast should you speak for a speech?

  • What do you look at when doing a speech?

  • How do you connect with your audience?

  • How do you use hand gestures to project power, trust, and confidence?

  • What should your mindset be before, during and after your speech?

  • We will record and compare before and after videos for complete analysis.

  • How do you resolve conflict or disagreement between your peers, subordinates, or managers?

  • How do you disagree like a leader?

  • When should you give your opinion during a discussion? At the beginning, middle, or end?

  • Where should you sit at the conference room table to have greater influence?

  • How do you negotiate more effectively?

  • How do you use active listening to create trust and your desired outcome?

  • How to use your body language to persuade?

  • Learn more tactics on how to develop your personal brand as an effective leader at these smaller, most common communication settings through role-playing and simulations.
